CPP/FPC Information

 

Certification

The Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification program was developed by the American Payroll Association in 1985 as a method of serving the interest of those working in Payroll. This has aided in establishing respect for Payroll as a profession rather than a technical discipline, maintaining high standards in the industry, as well as recognizing those individuals who have proven themselves to be among the top ranks of the industry.

 

In 2000 the Fundamental Payroll Certification Exam (FPC)was offered for the first time ever. This certification was developed to promote the standard for payroll professionals that are accepted by the business community and the public at large.
